  1. Re: Multiple columns of data, want unique combinations

    Maybe you could concatenate all of the target columns together in a helper column and then use advanced filter (unique) on the helper column.

    Time Limit?

    Has the length of time one can stay logged in been changed, maybe due to the recent hack? I have been automatically logged out twice today. That has never happened before.

    Thanks,

  4. Re: Using VBA to print correct info on page footers

    Happy New Year to you too.

    FYI, that is a built in function. VBA is not required.

    Please try pasting the following in a "custom footer"

    Page &[Page] of &[Pages]

    Re: Lost the "right click" cut/copy/paste

    You must know the name of the command bar you want to reset if you want to use the original solution: Commandbars("Cell").Reset
    where "Cell" is the name of the command bar.

    The sample code below...
  7. Re: I need a command like "GetOpenFileName" but for folders instead of files

    Hi Dan,

    Here's an API I use occasionally. Don't remember where I got it or who wrote it. I don't know if it can be set to do multi select.

    Hope it helps.

    In a standard module:

  8. Re: Using VB to hide sections of spreadsheet

    If it's a contiguous block of cells the "CurrentRegion" property may work.

    In a standard module:

    Public Sub Test()

    ActiveCell.CurrentRegion.Interior.ColorIndex = 3

    End Sub
  9. Re: VBA - yellow arrow in the left border when debugging

    Select "Tools" > "Options"

    Check "Margin Indicator Bar" on right under font size

    Re: Vba help returning blocks of values

    Still not exactly sure what you want. The following snip will retrieve the data from B13:F27 of a sheet named "Customers" and show it to you in a message box one cell at a time. The "Customers"...

    Re: Vba help returning blocks of values

    Not exactly. Look at the "For Each" loop. That loop visits each cell in B15:C25 then writes a character into the cell.

    Exactly what are you trying to do?
  13. Re: Count occurances of character string in a worksheet

    If you click "Find All" in the "Find and Replace" dialog it will report how many different cells contain the text but will not count multiple instances in a single cell.

  19. Re: VBA for double clicking a specific cell to bring you to a different specific cell (or sheet)

    Seems like a "bookmark" hyperlink in column B is the way to go. You could also put a return to "Index" or "General" page link on the pages you visit.

  25. Re: If the cell begins with certain words remove the words
