    Re: Copy and paste from hidden sheet

    Hi dwool40,

    Maybe this:

    Option Explicit
    Sub Macro1()

    Sheets("Make Ready Board (2)").Range("A2:R2").Copy Destination:=Sheets("Make Ready Board").Range("A2")

    Re: If Sheet 1 Match Sheet 2

    The formula will show the results for the first match. If there are multiple matches I think you'll need an array formula but I'm no expert as those :( though I'm sure someone on this forum will be...

    Re: If Sheet 1 Match Sheet 2

    Strange, it worked for me :confused: I don't give out my email address I'm afraid.

    When you say it doesn't work - what happened? If #N/A was returned that's because an exact match wasn't found.

    Re: If Sheet 1 Match Sheet 2

    Hi nitesh2009,

    Welcome to MrExcel!!

    If I've understood correctly, (big If here) this formula in cell B2 of Sheet1 should do the job:

    =INDEX(Sheet2!A:A,MATCH(C2,Sheet2!B:B,0))

    Re: 2 Worksheets and Yes answer

    Hi sh3rvin,

    Put the following in cell R2 (assuming this is the starting Row - change the following to suit) and copy down as far as required:

    =VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!A:O,15,FALSE)

    Re: Compile error

    To use this proposed early binding method, you need to select the Microsoft Scripting Runtime option (Tools > References).

    I would actually use late binding like so:

    Dim fso As Object, folder...
  9. Re: Control Userform labels and buttons with VB macro

    Try this as the forms' Initialize event code (currently the last code on the form):

    Private Sub UserForm_Initialize()

    Dim lngCounter2 As Long

    The best thing would be to use a hosting site like www.box.com or www.dropbox.com and post your workbook there (devoid of any sensitive data) so we can see what's happening.

    Re: Code to change caption of labels

    Hi Bandito1,

    You need to store the value in a cell that can be referred to - I have used cell A1 of Sheet1 in the following example (change to suit):

  14. Re: Control Userform labels and buttons with VB macro

    So to hide the label controls you just needed to change the control from "TextBox" to "Label" from my solution for you here like so (you could have even put it in the form's Activate event along my...

    Hi Rod,

    It's very hard to know what's gone wrong without seeing your workbook but at a guess I'd say the form name has changed from "AdjustResetButtonForm". Double check the form it is spelt...
  16. Re: Control Userform labels and buttons with VB macro

    Hi Rod,

    The visible property is a boolean variable meaning it has to be set as VB True (value of 1) or VB False (value of 0) not a string like you have i.e. "False" and "True".

    Remove the...

    Hi cvanderweide92177,

    Hi Fluff,

    Can I ask you a question - what's the syntax for filtering the data set where the items do not agree to what's in the array i.e. what's wrong with this...

  22. Re: Assign a Userform to a control button on a worksheet

    This code needs to be part of the form not put a standard module.

    Copy the code, right-click on the form in the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) click View Code and paste the code in that module.
