  1. Re: Autofilter table depending on the date value from different sheet MACRO VBA

There is no reason why you would get that error on that line, if the code in post#2 did not give an error.

  9. Re: 'Range' of object '_Global' failed ---runtime error 1004

If I select the part with borders I get 168.4589 in N42 which is correct for where I have the data.
Check that your values are numbers & not text.
  10. Re: 'Range' of object '_Global' failed ---runtime error 1004

You need to delete your original macro, or change the name of one of them.

  17. Re: VBA Search for any of three items, return whole row or rows of matching data.

The "On Error GoTo 0" simply resets the error handler back to the default and needs to be kept.

Do you have any blank rows in your data?

To return those values you can change the formula to
    =(CODE(LEFT(VLOOKUP($A7,'CHRISTMAS GIFT SHOP'!$A:$E,3,FALSE)))-63)*10

Did you actually try the formula I suggested? It will return the same values that you have shown.

    Re: Formula advice

I don't understand why a wildcard would help to change the 1 to 30 or the 2 to 60.
Can you post some sample data along with the expected result & explain how you get that result.
