  1. Re: Sort formula that also handles duplicates

I'm currently using a custom sort formula made with if statements:...
  2. Sort formula that also handles duplicates

I have a table with 4 columns and information in each column can repeat where:
    Column 1 is "NAMES"
    Column 2 is "Start date"
    Column 3 is "End date"
    Column 4 is "Description"

    I initially used...
  3. Re: Creating a Leave Tracker/Attendance Tracker

Also I've rewritten the code such that:

    =IF(OR(WEEKDAY(C16;2)>5;COUNTIF(Input!$J$2:$J$19;C16)>0);"";IFERROR(INDEX(Table15[DESCRIPTION];SMALL(IF((Table15[EMPLOYEE...
  4. Re: Creating a Leave Tracker/Attendance Tracker

Reviving an old thread here, I've been trying to figure out what the asterisk does in the code, I can't seem to find it on google but from what I understand it's acting like an AND operator is that...

    Priority in excel formula

I have a table on "Sheet2" where you input a letter and state where it goes in "Sheet1"; A1, A2, A3 etc. in the first column and the letter goes in the second column. This table accepts duplicates...

Re: Condition in same cell as formula

I want to replace "A" with any letter I decide to write the condition for, but yes, for this example I want to replace "A" with "B". I don't see any formulas, just the table you posted. Also, the...

Condition in same cell as formula

How can I create a condition relating to the cell that the formula is written in without getting a circular reference? Let's say I have a formula in A1 and it is said to return the letter in B2. How...
  8. Re: Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

Saw this after I finished manually typing in the months.
  9. Re: Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

    Okay thanks, this works perfect!
  10. Re: Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

This unfortunately didn't work, it still counts the blank spaces. Is this because a blank space is counted as a number?
  11. Re: Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

Also, is it possible to count this for each month of the year?
  12. Re: Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

I'm experiencing a new issue, the list of public holidays has space to enter more data thus those spaces are being counted also, is there a way to prevent this without removing the blank spaces in my...
  13. Re: Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

Thank you all for the responses! I shall try these.

Edit: Thank you all, I saw where my problem lied, I was trying to use COUNTIF.
  14. Count Public Holidays that falls on a Saturday

I have a list of public holidays and I would like to know how I could count the ones that fall on a satuday.
  15. Re: How to display all array values when copying formulas down rows/columns

This is because this is just piece of my full formula, the entire formula requires CSE and cannot work without it. That's why I'm asking for a solution for separating the CSE part and non-CSE part.
    ...
  16. Re: How to display all array values when copying formulas down rows/columns

Another method would be being able to extract the "NO" value and display it. I'm not sure why arrays only display the first value.
  17. How to display all array values when copying formulas down rows/columns

As the title state, I need to figure out how to obtain each value in the array as I copy the formula down the column, or figure out how to make part of a formula not be affected by CSE.

    Example:
    ...
  18. Re: Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

    <colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody>
    S

  19. Re: Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

Edit: Not a random letter, but a random position, instead of just the first position. Should I make a new thread to ask this question?
  20. Re: Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

Would it be possible to modify this code to replace a random letter instead?
  21. Re: Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

That did the fix, thanks again!
  22. Re: Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

I'm having an issue actually putting it into my code:...
  23. Re: Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

    Thank you, it works perfectly!
  24. Using replace to replace ONLY the first instance

I'm trying to use this formula:
    REPLACE("S";1;1;"O")
To remove the first instance of S only. An example of what the column would look like:

    <tbody>
    T

    O
