Using the Data Model is better integrated with PowerBI tools in Excel. The PowerBI tools are available to o365 subscribers.
VBA would handle it using those tools, but would be waste of time imho...
  2. Re: Pivot table for finding distinct counts with multiple page filters

You're running into one of the differences between a "regular Pivot Table and a Data Model Pivot Table.
In a Normal Pivot table, you can set the "Number of items to retain per field"

    You will...
  3. Re: Pivot Table - How to group by filter value?

Slicers are filters. The slicer is its own object and can be formatted for size and layout (number of items wide). Also a slicer can be linked to multiple Pivot Tables.
    The Filter Area cannot share...
  4. Re: Pivot Table - How to group by filter value?

Have the value fields in the Row area and apply the filter there. You may like using the Slicer Options to have a Filter selection outside the filter.
In the Field options, you can have a blank line...

NETWORKDAYS will provide a result of 1 for the same day.
    Minor modofication.

    Re: Elapsed Time (h):mm:ss

    That's a LOTUS thing.

"########" as a result formatted as a date/time may indicate the resultant value is Negative. Try inversing with a -1.

The formula I provided was copied from a tested environment.

    Re: Spreadsheet audit software

Hey Johnny, its been a while. Did you find the INQUIRE Audit covered everything or did you find any thing missing from the results.

Re: Distinct Result from Multiple Countif

Just ensure you've used the "add this data to the Data Model" option when creating your Pivot Table. That will then allow you to use the Distinct Count option for the Field Value Setting.
    You Grand...
  10. Re: Refreshing External Connections In Power Query

    It all depends...
If you change a key value your Query is looking for and then make it unavailable or not seen by the Query, you will break the Query. If you use a File Import, you cannot change the...

    Re: Elapsed Time (h):mm:ss

You will probably need to retype. If it was text matching one of the formats for your Region, Excel would probably convert it in the background.
You can try using the Text-To-Columns feature and...

    Re: Elapsed Time (h):mm:ss

Verify each part in a separate cell.
All references should be serial date values or numbers. Check using ISNUMBER.

My guess would be a value in C36:C43 is not a serial date or recognizable to...

    Re: Elapsed Time (h):mm:ss

Use F9 to calculate each formula segment to determine where the error is occurring.
Verify the Cell and Range references. The array for the Holiday List should not include the list header.

    Re: Piovt Table Sorting
