    yes, if you can put all 100 cross refernces on a sheet named "Replacetxt" the following macro will work assuming that the thing you're trying to replace is the only value entered in the cell.

    the only thing i can think of BESIDES a personal macro workbook is if you have an an excel addin that is corrupt. You could try to uninstall and reinstalling any addons you have installed to this pc.

    yes you can always use error handling with regular formulas.
    So the logic would sound like this in your head "If there is an error, proceed with this formula, if not proceed with this other formula"...

    try this, i added an if statement where if the value of whats entered in the box (or cancel is pressed) is 0 it won't execute the code to copy and save.
    so hopefully you won't be naming the workbook...

    column A is a part number: M144478065+47
    column B is either a blank cell or an extension identifier: 4TTAC
    column C is a listing number: 351115643...

    the names aren't actually "vendor 1" etc
    it has to be dynamic in the sense that it won't index or count sheets by name, but rather whats in between the two sheets.
