    Re: fill a range with numbers - vba

    Try

    Sub MM1()
    Dim x As Integer, y As Integer
    Dim n As Integer, m As Integer, cell As Range
    x = InputBox("row1")
    y = InputBox("col1")
    n = InputBox("row2")
    m = InputBox("col2")
  2. Re: Table headers being replaced when copying to it from another table

    maybe here....change 4 to 5 !!
    Have you tried stepping through the code to see which line / s remove the headings

    Range("A1:A" & Cells(Rows.Count, "C").End(xlUp).Row).Formula = "=IF($C1="""","""",A$1)"

    Good point, but I'm sure the OP can make that call....:lol:
  6. Re: Hide rows in range when value in COL A = 0

    Maybe then...

    Sub MM2()
    Range("a10:a50000").AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:="<>0"
    End Sub
  7. Re: Hide rows in range when value in COL A = 0

    If the 0 is NOT the result of a formula, use

    Sub MM1()
    With Range("A1", Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp))
    .Replace 0, "#N/A", xlWhole, , False, , False, False
    ...

    Re: log date when the file is open

    Target is the column that is being used to trigger the code in this case Column 1 or Column "A"
    The code is only used by that sheet and isn't running until one of the "target" cells is used !!

    Re: log date when the file is open

    Paste this in the sheet module of the sheet you are working with

    Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.Column = 1 Then
    If Target.Value <> "" Then
    ...

    Re: Trying to insert a formula

    You're missing an "=" after the word formula

    ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("CSS_quote_sheet").Range("M11").Formula = "=IF(D11<3,3,D11)"

    Re: error message

    That's a standard message for having the wrong password regardless of text OR numbers.
    Basically, you are using the wrong password.
    We can't really help other than that.

    Is that the entire macro ??
    Can you post a sample of generic data, either back here, or upload to a site like dropbox ??
