  1. Re: VBA to see if a column contains a certain string

    Ok, if the search starts in F4, change to

    With .Range("F4:F" & Cells(Rows.Count, "F").End(xlUp).Row)
    .AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:="Yir"
    .Range("F4:F" &...
  2. Re: VBA to see if a column contains a certain string

    The search is supposed to start at F2 isn't it ??
    If there is no value of "Yir" in the column what error do you get ??
  3. Re: VBA to see if a column contains a certain string

    I would have thought you would be able to adjust this yourself now Dave !
    And you did ask for the entire row to be coloured, not the text.
    Ok change the segment to

    With .Range("F2:F" &...
  4. Re: VBA to see if a column contains a certain string

    Try inserting here....UNTESTED

    Sub cmdCopy()
    Dim wsDst As Worksheet, wsSrc As Worksheet, tblrow As ListRow
    Dim Combo As String, sht As Worksheet, tbl As ListObject
    Dim...
  5. Re: VBA to see if a column contains a certain string

    Don't know how many rows you have Dave, this might be quicker

    Sub MM2()
    With Range("F2:F" & Cells(Rows.Count, "F").End(xlUp).Row)
    .AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:="No"
    ...
  6. Re: VBA to see if a column contains a certain string

    Maybe like this....but this will colour the "entire" row...do you really want that ??

    Sub MM1()
    Dim lr As Long, r As Long
    lr = Cells(Rows.Count, "F").End(xlUp).Row
    For r = 1 To lr
    If...

    Re: Loop Macro gets progressively slower

    DId you try it on another PC ?
    With what your code does, I wouldn't think it's a PC or memory issue !!
  12. Re: My one week effort code, can you check it up ?

    Try to not use Activate or Select
    for instance, this

    Range("C7").Activate
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=MID(RC[23],33,4)"

    Re: facing error while copy

    In that case I'm guessing it's a 3rd party app that is causing the problem.
    Try closing ALL other apps then try the copy and paste.
    If it works, reopen the apps 1 at a time and do a copy and paste...

  18. Re: Need text box to be invisible when printing

    Ok, maybe something like this then...in the "ThisWorkbook"

    Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
    If TextBox1 = "Please type notes here" Then
    TextBox1.visible=false
    End Sub
  19. Re: Need text box to be invisible when printing

    Copy the lines I provided in post #4 , then insert them in the code that is doing the printing just before the code prints.
    I'm assuming you are using code to do the printouts ??

    Re: Loop Macro gets progressively slower

    This would also be quicker hiding rows

    Sub MM()
    With Range("K4").CurrentRegion
    .AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:="<>Yes", Operator:=xlAnd, Criteria2:="<>"
    End With

    This should be much faster
