    Re: VBA UserForm with Check Box

    You could do this.
    Create a userform with one ListBox (ListBox1) and two command buttons (butOK and butCancel).
    Put this code in the userform's code module

    Function SelectedValues(ListItems As...

    Re: VBA UserForm with Check Box

    Rather than a bunch of checkboxes, you could use a multiselect ListBox with the .ListStyle set to fmListStyleOption.
    Then you could loop through the list box enteries and see what the user checked.
  4. Re: Right to left counting cells with value until the first empty cell

    It sounds like "consider the cells between column Y and the first empty cell to the left of that, what number of those cells contain a value > 0"

    If that is the question then...

  6. Re: Average groups of numbers within a larger group

    If your numbers are in column A
    =AVERAGE(INDEX(A:A, 1, 1):INDEX(A:A, 7, 1)) will return the average of the first 7 rows
    =AVERAGE(INDEX(A:A, 8, 1):INDEX(A:A, 14, 1)) is the average of the next 7

  9. Re: Workbook Coding Effecting other workbooks

    The OP code does not specify which workbook's Worksheets collection is to be used. This is called "unqualified".By default, the ActiveWorkbook is used.

    PrevSheet = Worksheets(xIndex -...
  10. Re: Workbook Coding Effecting other workbooks

    My guess is that Worksheets(xIndex-1) isn't qualified.

    Try

    PrevSheet = RCell.Parent.Parent.Worksheets(xIndex-1).Range(RCell.Address).Value
  11. Re: VBA convert Activecell to number in spreadsheet

    How about

    Re: Converting number to fixed length field

    How about = RIGHT("00000000000000" & SUBSTITUTE(A1,".",""), 14) which handles any location of the decimal point.
  13. Re: Find highest number when mixedwith text in each cell

    The CSE formula (entered with Ctrl-Shift-Enter) will return the highest index of CA numbers in column A. The "CA" is not part of the returned value.

  24. Re: Best formula to count login - logout time

    change this line

    prefix = UCase(Left(.Offset(-1, 1).Value, 4))

    (and also change the .Cell(j,3) 's to .Cells(j,2). But it sounds like you've done that already.)
