  1. Re: HELP! Index match, VLOOKUP, Not sure what to do

    If I read you correctly, I did the following:

    1. Create a drop down sheet. On it I listed the drop down options for B22 in column A.
    Then, from B1 to whatever column you need, relist the...
  2. Re: HELP! Index match, VLOOKUP, Not sure what to do

    For each aerial device chosen from the drop down in B22, are there a varying amount of other pieces of equipment that would populate B23 and on?
  3. Re: Excel Formula Assistance (If Statement w/lookup and SUM)

    Your #3 , if I'm reading it correctly: put this formula in the cell of Sheet3 where you want the answer.

    =IF(Sheet1!A10="ABC",Vlookup("ABC",Sheet2!W1:X100,2,false),"")

    You didn't say what you...

    And, I'm using the following code within other code in...
  6. Re: VBA cannot find SUMIFS in WorksheetFunction class

    Thanks. That's what I concluded in my post #2 and already incorporated it into the code. Thanks for confirming!!
  7. Re: VBA cannot find SUMIFS in WorksheetFunction class

    I haven't tried that, but don't think it will work because the 2nd element of the SUMIFS function needs to be a range which is used to match the third element.
  8. Re: VBA cannot find SUMIFS in WorksheetFunction class

    I suppose I have to separate the range for Arg1 into two separate ranges??
  9. VBA cannot find SUMIFS in WorksheetFunction class

    What's wrong here?

    Dim Arg1 As Range 'the range i want to sum
    Dim Arg2 As Range 'criteria range
    Dim Arg3 As Range 'the criteria (range)

    Re: SUM INDEX MATCH Help.

    Without trying to reproduce your roughly million rows, I would suggest you consider SUMPRODUCT as an option.
    Have you tried that?

    Or post a smaller version of your file with examples.

    Actually, F2 can be this: =IF(ISNUMBER(FIND(",",A2)),A2,F1)

    Re: Copy from one Merge Cell into a Column

    I came up with a quick solution using a helper cell (which you could hide).

    Re: Pull info from First Column with Data

    One way is to use this ARRAY formula: =INDEX(C2:K2,MATCH(FALSE,ISBLANK(C2:K2),0)) [enter with CTLR+Shift+Enter]

    Re: VBA: need unique values from a column

    Thanks to both of you. I put a header in G1 and H1 (same header in each) and if I F8 my way through it using this:

    VBA: need unique values from a column

    In a worksheet (called Summary) I have values from G2 to Gn and I'd like column H from H2 to however long to be the unique values from G.
  20. Re: Removing first character and last 3 in range

    You could use a formula: =0+LEFT(RIGHT(AJ1,LEN(AJ1)-1),LEN(RIGHT(AJ1,LEN(AJ1)-4))) and fill down
    Or VBA per this formula:

    Sub remove()
    Dim LR As Long, i As Integer
    LR = Cells(Rows.Count,...

    What is the IF statement referencing?

    =IF(A1<100000,"0XX",IF(and(A1>=100000,A1<999000),"1XX","2XX"))

    Something like that?

    I think I found 2 ways:

    =6-LOOKUP(2,1/(B2:F2<>""),COLUMN(B2:F2))

    and

    =5-AGGREGATE(14,6,(COLUMN(B2:F2)-COLUMN(B2)+1)/(B2:F2<>""),1)
