    Re: VBA Run time Error "424

    You should pass Cl.Value and Fldr as arguments to the called sub:

    Sub Copy_Move_Files()
    Dim fso As Object
    Dim Cl As Range
    Dim Fldr As String

    Set fso =...
  2. Re: Cocatenation returns text string not formula result

    Unless using code is ok, or you can ensure the source workbook is open, you're out of luck. If the source will be open, you can use INDIRECT.

    Re: Non Case Sensitive Dictionary

    Yes before you populate it, and it’s vbtextcompare not just textcompare

    Re: Non Case Sensitive Dictionary

    Set the Dictionary's CompareMode property to vbtextcompare.
  6. Re: If userform is already open then MSG box to open saying Userform in Use

    Not directly. You'd need to log the fact the userform is open in say a text file in a location accessible to both users (eg a network folder) and then check for that file in the form's Initialize...
  7. Re: If userform is already open then MSG box to open saying Userform in Use

    What do you mean by "if someone else has the userform open already"? Userform instances are specific to the excel application instance, so someone else can't have the same userform open.
  8. Re: Assign Procedure/s to VB editor toolbar commands

    Yes it is - see Chip's page: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/vbemenus.aspx

    Re: Userform Listbox Row Source

    Set the columnheads property to true, then the headers will appear (and will be real headers).

    What/where is the actual error?
  11. Re: Keyboard Shortcut changed from Today to Ellipsis

    You don't have to uninstall it, just disable it temporarily. Or just start Excel in Safe Mode by holding down the Ctrl key while starting it.

    I'd guess your value field is not set to Count.

    Re: asking for ideas

    You can set its SpecialEffect property to raised, but why not just use a button?

    Re: Target.Column + 8?

    FYI, Mac users can use userforms. (they just can't build them if they use a version later than 2011)
  16. Re: How to split units from numbers stored in a cell that is custom formatted

    If the units are only part of the custom format, you'd need code to retrieve them - do you need them, or the quantities, or both?
  17. Re: Determining RGB values of each item in the Standard Color Palette

    Do you mean something like this:

    Sub colourList()
    Dim n As Long
    For n = 1 To 56
    With Cells(n, "A")
    .Value2 = ActiveWorkbook.Colors(n)
    .Interior.Color =...

    Re: Subtotal in the last row of table

    If you mean using the 'Total Row' option on the Design tab of Table tools, then that behaviour shouldn't occur. If you just typed the formulas in, then Excel defaults to assuming it's just a row of...

    Re: Subtotal in the last row of table

    Did you add a Totals row to the table, or just add the formulas as a new row?

    Re: Cell Format Include a Footnote

    I don't understand this comment. The format applies to the returned value so in your example it would show the formula result with a superscript 1 after it.

    Re: Runtime error 424 Object Required

    That error would suggest that one (or both) of those codenames is incorrect (or in a different workbook to the code).

    Re: Search and Replace custom function issue

    You're going to need a loop of some kind. I suggest you load the range into an array and loop through that, then write the array back to the sheet.
