    Re: VBA: cancel file selection

    At the very top of a standard module (before any code) put
    Global QuitAll As Boolean

    In the macro where you are selecting a file use
    Sub macro1()
    Dim statements
    Application.ScreenUpdating =...

  3. Re: Change Row height and colour based on value

    In that case how about
    Sub Andyjk1984()
    Dim Cl As Range

    For Each Cl In Range("A1", Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp))
    If Cl.Value = 1 Then
    Cl.RowHeight = 33

  6. Re: Change Row height and colour based on value

    Also is col A hard values, or formulae?
  7. Re: Change Row height and colour based on value

    What height should the row be if it contains 1 in col A?

    Re: Ignore Hidden Sheet & AutoFill Fail Safe

    Do you just want the name in the first row for each sheet? or all 17 rows regardless of how much data is pulled over?
  11. Re: Looking for a value in a range and acting if it's not found

    I just felt it was easier to do it that way.

    Re: Ignore Hidden Sheet & AutoFill Fail Safe

    It all works perfectly for me, so it must be something to do with your data.
    Will column D on every sheet being copied have data on every row?
  14. Re: Looking for a value in a range and acting if it's not found

    Try it like
    Sub MoveInvoiceNoIntrastat()

    Dim Voucher As Range, v As Variant, Counter As Long
    Dim DateColumn As Range, InvoiceColumn As Range, AdjustedValue As Range
    Dim NxtRw As...

    Re: Ignore Hidden Sheet & AutoFill Fail Safe

    Oops missed an *, it should be
    Fname = Dir(Pth & "*.xls*")

    I would also strongly recommend against adding
    On Error Resume Nextunless absolutely necessary, as it can lead to all sorts of...

    Re: Hide Another Workbook Worksheet

    Glad we could help & thanks for the feedback
  17. Re: How to un-protect multiple cells in Excel worksheet with VBA

    You need to specify the full address of the merged cells, so instead of using K7, it would need to be something like K7:M7

    Re: Hide Another Workbook Worksheet

    To save & close use
    Sub Rahulwork()
    Dim Wbk As Workbook

    Set Wbk = Workbooks.Open(Range("A1").Value)
    Wbk.Sheets("secret").Visible = False
    Wbk.Close True
    End Sub

    However if you have the same value more than once in the list, it will report the first match.

    Re: Get array index for selected item

    As Peter has said, it's unclear what you are trying to do, but with your example maybe
    Sub TestIndex()
    Dim arr, List$, i%

    List = "10,12,14,16,18"

    arr = Split(List, ",")

    For i = 10 To 18...

    Re: VBA: cancel file selection

    Two options that I can think of.
    1) Use End rather than Exit Sub, but that will also destroy any global/public variables. (Not recommended)
    2) Use a global variable & if the user hits Cancel set...

    Re: Nestled IF with COUNTIFS question

    Glad it's working & thanks for the feedback.
    I don't fully understand the formula myself (I'm more VBA based), I just modified Jason's formula, so can't really explain how it works.
