  1. Re: Help with duplicate values move horizontally

    Try making this change near the end of the macro

    <del>Range("A1").Resize(k, 2).Value = b</del>
    With Range("A1").Resize(k, 2)
    .NumberFormat = "@"
    .Value = b
    End With

    Re: IF with two conditions

    Hmm, you originally said "command in column E based on data from A to D" so it certainly sounded like column D had data. ;)

    So try this then

    <b>Discount</b><br /><br /><table border="1"...
  3. Re: Reversing a String of numbers or text with delimiters

    OK, thanks. I'll leave it to sandy666 &/or others then. :)

    Re: IF with two conditions

    Why do you need an IF statement at all?

    <b>Excel 2016</b><table cellpadding="2.5px" rules="all" style=";background-color: rgb(255,255,255);border: 1px solid;border-collapse: collapse;...
  6. Re: Reversing a String of numbers or text with delimiters

    Are there answers to my questions too?
  7. Re: Formula for a number in a range appearing in another range

    Like this?

    <b>Sheet5</b><br /><br /><table border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="font-family:Arial,Arial; font-size:8pt; background-color:#ffffff; padding-left:2pt; padding-right:2pt;...
  8. Re: Help with duplicate values move horizontally

    OK, so you have a couple of those to choose from. :)

    Sure, if you started with the results above in columnd D, E, F, ... and columns A:C blank then try

    Sub Make_List()
    Dim a As Variant,...

    Re: Get array index for selected item

    No, I didn't overlook the list. I was asking what you would want to happen if the list was different and had repeated values.
  10. Re: Formula - Return True if any duplicate numbers

    Just wondering, how did this question essentially differ from this one you asked a few days ago?
    Any follow-up should have been posted in the same thread.
  11. Re: Help with duplicate values move horizontally

    Just re-reading this thread and noticed that you originally asked for a formula to do this.
    If you are interested, that can be done & for this I have assumed a heading row with data starting in row...

    Re: Get array index for selected item

    It is very unclear what you are actually trying to do - or why. :confused:

    In any case, if List = "10,12,10, 16,18", what result would you expect for "10" - 0 or 2?

    Re: Remove characters

    OK, glad we got there in the end.
    Highlights the importance of attention to detail. ;)
  14. Re: Data Validation - 3 Letters + 2 Numbers

    Given the change, can you clearly re-state in words exactly what the DV requirements are?
  15. Re: Delete rows if cell value is not contained on a list

    I think it is. Your question now is a general question about coding technique, not about deleting rows whose location is not wanted.
  16. Re: Reversing a String of numbers or text with delimiters

    Is there a particular reason you need to use Power Query for this?
    What version of Excel are you using?
    What would be the approximate maximum number of such prices in a single cell?

    No problem, glad to help. :)
  18. Re: Delete rows if cell value is not contained on a list

    I'm not sure what you are getting at with this but it has nothing to do with partial/complete matches.

    Sorry, I don't think we should hijack the OP's thread and head off regarding other code.

    Re: Remove characters

    My comments were not specifically about cases ending with a string of zeros but rather cases where there was a zero in position nine and that zero was followed only by other digits (0-9)

  21. Re: Help with duplicate values move horizontally

    Another way that you could consider

    Sub Rearrange()
    Dim d As Object
    Dim a As Variant
    Dim i As Long

    Set d = CreateObject("Scripting.Dictionary")
    a = Range("A1", Range("B" &...

    Try
