    You can put the two open events together like
    Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    Dim OneSheet As Worksheet
    Dim shtname As String

    For Each OneSheet In...

  6. Re: Macro to copy values across rows and transposing them and add the user id

    It means that there are 127,944 rows of data to be output to sheet, which is fine.
    One possible reason for the error you originally got, was if you were trying to output more than 1,048,576 rows.

    Try replacing the IFNA with IFERROR
  8. Re: Formula to Find which category a value falls in

    Makes absolutely no sense to me, but that's probably because I know nothing of percentiles.

    As this is a different question, you need to start a new thread.
    Thanks

    Re: Formatting date question ....

    Ok, having set up the legacy import, on the data tab in "Get & transform" section, there should be "Get Data". Select that & then from the dropdown, select "Legacy wizards" then "From text"

  10. Re: Macro to copy values across rows and transposing them and add the user id

    Sounds like you have too much data. Add this message box as shown, what does it say
    Next
    MsgBox UBound(b)
    sh2.Range("A2").Resize(UBound(b), 2).Value = b()

    Did you open the csv in a text editor & check that the dates were in the correct format?

    Re: Formatting date question ....

    In that case when PQ loads, just select "Load" & you will have the data in the right format, or you will need to use the "Legacy" version.
    In File > Options > Data > check "From text (legacy)" > OK....

  18. Re: Using variables to reference workbook filenames

    Ok, lines like
    Workbooks(extwbk).Worksheets("Sheet1")this should be
    extwbk.Worksheets("Sheet1")as you have on the first line of code you posted.

    I would recommend getting rid of that. All it...

    How have you declared "extwbk" & how have you assigned it?
    Also do you have any error handling in the code?

    Change this line
    If ws.Name <> "Master" Thento
    If ws.Name <> "Master" And ws.Name <> "Lists" Thenand to correct the error it should be xlup not x1up (ie lower case L, not number one)
Results 1 to 25 of 150
