  6. Re: generating a set of random numbers to total a set value

use a macro to generate 5 random different integers and if they add up to exactly 100 print them out, or restart macro.
  7. Re: Concatenate Multiple Rows with same Unique Identifier

Fluff - is it permitted to put a spreadsheet on google sheets and give access to all ?
  8. Re: can someone make an excel spreadsheet for martingale ?

Why try to win 1 every bet - better to keep going till you win 1 - you wont run out of money so fast - I am not going to spend any more time on this - if you need formulas for any of my cells tell me...

  13. Re: can someone make an excel spreadsheet for martingale ?

bet 1, at 5/1 you get 5 plus your stake back

doubling up will kill you eg at roulette you hit the casino's maximum stake limit - as an academic exercise it is fun though.

  15. Re: Highlighting Rows when 2 columns don't match from another sheet.

you are making this too complicated
if you are in sheet2 and need to refer to a cell in sheet1 you use =sheet1!B3

you are asking if a value associated with a code in sheet2 matches the value...
  16. Re: Highlighting Rows when 2 columns don't match from another sheet.

$a$1 is the start point of the offset
=offset(from here, down to here, along to here)
  17. Re: Find value according to different criteria and sum

    (c2:c100<>"a")*(c2:c100<>"c")
gives you - in my example - all rows where symbol = "b"
  18. Re: Highlighting Rows when 2 columns don't match from another sheet.

    your offset is =offset(a1,match(f3,a3:a100,0),1)

    why is not a2:a100
is f3 the same type of data as a3 ie both dates, or both text, or both variable numbers ?

I am away for 8 days now...
