    csv doesnot support telugu language..so we cannot do anything with CSV..
    however, we are good with excel..that is fine..

    yes, workbook which contain our macro is always saved as macro-enabled file.
    here, our macro processing specified data of macro-enabled file & creates a new file which has been saved...

    As you said ,i used test(), got 14 as colorindex & used colorIndex as 14 in the macro you provided.
    However, still the o/p remains same. it seems the value of 'val' is nothing on debug..i think it...

    code always going to else part of if ..else, because "val.Interior.ColorIndex returning -4142" & we are checking whether it is equal to 43.
    as it is not matching or...

    with bit of hands on, copying Q11111, Q22222,Q33333,Q4444 in B Coloumn of new workbook has been implemented & done.

    however, ith column of new worksheet issue still exist.

    i myself fixed runtime error 91 by commenting "LastRow" & took static value of 10 to test the macro.

    macro is working, how ever not matching with expected result.
    macro just pasting ::0;; in C...

    appreciates for your quick response. manually select a cell of a record & by using fill color feature.

    Actually, either way by fill color or font color is fine to me.
