Re: Univers and Channels for pixels

Hi, I think you made a mistake on the highlighted cells below - but for the rest, and specifically the cases where the "channels used" are "1", the suggested formulas return the results you now say...

Re: Univers and Channels for pixels

Hi, it's still a little confusing.

Can you complete the table below with your expected results?

Re: Univers and Channels for pixels

Hi, that result would seem to be consistent with your other examples. i.e. a number of 135 in column A has 135 in the end channel..

Hi, here are one set of options you can try, formulas can be copied down as required.

Re: Language format - Date fields

Hi, just another option - still a little cumbersome.

    =YEAR(G2)&TEXT(MONTH(G2),"00")&TEXT(DAY(G2),"00")&TEXT(HOUR(H2),"00")&TEXT(MINUTE(H2),"00")&TEXT(SECOND(H2),"00")

Re: Need normal formula instead volatile

Hi, If it's just single digit numbers you can also hard code them and maintain robustness (which I personally consider to be important, even if you don't intend to insert or delete rows).

Re: Need normal formula instead volatile

Hi, here's a version that remains robust against row insertion and deletion.

    =MATCH(1000,INDEX(FIND(" | "&ROW(INDEX(G:G,1):INDEX(G:G,999))&" | "," | "&E3&" | "),0))

    Re: Help with CHOOSE function

Hi, how exactly did you define your named range?

If you want the text values hard coded in the named range try setting "Refers to:" to, for example:

  14. Re: How to Reference An Offset to the Current Cell in a Worksheet Formula

Hi, can't you just replace [currentcell] with the actual current cell reference. i.e. for your F1 example:

But a better option might be to look at using tables...

Hi, you may need to format the cells that contain the formula as general or number.
