Re: VBA write data from Excel to Access

    Jack

You mention an export to CSV, why not export the data in Excel you want to transfer to Access to a CSV and then import from there into Access?

Re: VBA write data from Excel to Access

How about trying with a (temporary?) named range?

PS Noticed a slight type, HRD=YES should be HDR=YES.

Re: VBA write data from Excel to Access

Have you tried using the sheet name on it's own?

Have you tried enclosing the sheet name in [] and appending a $, e.g. [sheetname$]?
  7. Re: Replacing an On Error with an If, regarding copying cells that may not exist after a filter

If you want to find if there's any data to copy why not use Application.worksheetfunctionthatcountsthings with the criteria you are using in the filter?
  8. Re: Replacing an On Error with an If, regarding copying cells that may not exist after a filter

    Perhaps.

    On Error Resume Next
    Set TourCopyRng = TourCopyRng.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible)
    On Error Goto 0

If Not TourCopyRng Is Nothing Then
    TourCopyRng.Copy temp.Range("A12")
    ...

Oops, didn't spot the different sheet names.
  10. Re: Cell recognize positive or negative value then adds certain texts to the 2 possibilities

You could try this custom format.

    "Overestimate" 0%; "Underestimate" 0%
  11. Re: Runtime error 91 Object Variable or with block variable not set

If you are populating the combobox directly from column A there's no need to use Find to locate the selected value, you can use the ListIndex property to get the row.

Re: VBA code not working in a Range

    Gavin

Your original code would be triggered by a manual change in any cell on the worksheet.

The code itself doesn't actually check, or do anything, with the cell/range that has been changed...

Re: VBA code not working in a Range

The change event is only triggered when a manual change is made on the worksheet.

Re: VBA code not working in a Range

    Try this.

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    Dim Rng As Range

    Set Rng = Range("N:N")

If Intersect(Target, Rng) Is Nothing Then Exit Sub

    Re: Code effieciency

    Try this.

1 Create a new class module and name it CmdBtn.

2 Paste this code in the class module.

    Option Explicit

    Public WithEvents cb As MSForms.CommandButton

    Re: Code effieciency

You could add a class module to handle the click events of the buttons.

    What are their names?

Is the textbox i.e. tbx800 the same for each button?

  19. Re: VBA to lookup a combo box value in a different worksheet

If the employee combobox is populated from the list of employees then you don't need Find/Application.Match, the ListIndex of the combobox will correspond directly to the row of the selected employee.
