    can you access your work server for other means, create the vpn first so you have a secure connection then get the excel ?

    Its basically a list of staff and the ID (some numeric, some text), trying to make sure I see all variants (two or three is not uncommon) in the data and provide one very clean output

    I have a number of sets of data in a single range of columns. I'd like to have that data in multiple columns but treat as a VLOOKUP so C,J,O is that doable...

    has it been accessed by anyone using a trial or not legitimate software package. Obvious thing to do is a full shutdown, then restart (which I would hope has already been tried)

    ASAP utilities (freeware unless you want to buy it) will aim to recover over selected and stored ranges, you can get rid of unused styles, and you can save a copy as Xlsb. the binary file is smaller

    maybe run the five minute macro and if it is 1am then trigger the 1am portion. I'm not clear in my head how I would make that happen, but only one macro loop running then

    your symptom is just that pivots over reaching another, maybe 20 is the number, its difficult to be precise
