  1. Re: Sumifs / sumproduct that contains multiple columns

    Welcome to the Board!

    If your data starts in row 2, place this formula in cell G2 and copy down to G5:

    =IF(A2="Red",B2,0)+IF(C2="Red",D2,0)+IF(E2="Red",F2,0)

    Re: Clear Columns from "F" to the Very End

    You can use the reference number of the columns ("A"=1,"B"=2,"C"=3,...) to do it like this:

    Range(Columns(6), Columns(Columns.Count)).Clear
    Note that it is not necessary to select the columns...

    What custom format are you using, exactly?
    What does it show in those cells if you change the format to General?

  9. Re: Formula to convert currency cost into a percentage

    In order to do a percentage of something, you need two values (the amount you want the percentage from, and the total amount).
    So, if you wanted the percentage of the value in cell A10 and the total...
  10. Re: Autofill goes past Last Row, Last row identifies correct Row

    Welcome to the Board!

    If you are tacking on the row number manually, you need to get rid of the current row number, i.e.

    :=Range("L2:U" & LR)
    instead of:

    :=Range("L2:U2" & LR)
    Otherwise,...

    Re: Vlookup on multiple columns

    You are welcome.

    If you have a lot of data, and find that it runs slow sometimes, you may be able to speed it up by using specific range references, instead of entire column references, i.e.

    Re: Date Difference

    If I am understanding you correctly, you should be able to do this in a calculated field in a query, i.e.

    DaysPassed: Date() - [DateField]
    Where DateField is the name of your date field.
    If the...

    "TimeCheckDelay" seems to be a variable of sorts, but I don't see it being defined or set anywhere.

    Re: Vlookup on multiple columns

    Here is one way.

    Let's say that your data of studetns and courses is in the range A1:B4.
    And let's say that they new table with formulas you are trying to build is in F1:H3
    Then, place this...

  19. Re: VBA code to find colunn number of specific data

    Re: Updating Linked Tables to Back End Problem

    No, that is not the proper way of doing it, and really defeats the purpose of splitting the database.
    Each user needs to have their own, separate copy of the front-end database.

    Are you and this other user using the same front-end?
    Each user should have their own copy of the front-end.
  25. Re: Keeping the "0" as the start of a string of numbers

    How/where exactly are you entering the value?
    If it is entered as Text, and not a Number, it should maintain the leading zero.
    We may need to know more about how this "Excel tool" works.
