  2. Re: Trying to average last 3 records only (top 3)

Try using a sub query to get the top 3 records, then avg those in the main query.?

    Ok, that is good.
It is just I have seen so many scenarios where the DB was split, but everyone was using a shortcut to the same FE. :(
  5. Re: The dreaded "Unrecognized database format": what to do?

Does each user have their 'own' FE?

  7. Re: Need to export data to existing Excel file, using variable in the file name

I don't believe you should have any single quote in there.?
I would Debug.Print Application.Currentproject.Path and ProjExport and then concatenate them.?

  8. Re: Need to export data to existing Excel file, using variable in the file name

I copied your code and created variables for the form controls and that compiles OK?
The compiler would not have any idea of worksheet names, so it is not that.?

Put a breakpoint on where you...

  12. Re: Access 2010 - Make Table Query Losing LookUp data

Lookups in Access tables confuse a lot of people. I believe most developers do not use them, as they just disguise the fact that all that is really held is a key.?

    Re: Select A Textbox

I think the O/P means VBA when they say Macro, as in Excel macro.
If it was an Access macro they would use the GoToControl action. However it does not supply control names, you have to type them in...
  15. Re: Pick detail of speific GL account with details

I would start with the macro recorder, and build from that.

Filter on Account, then copy and paste.?
  17. Re: MS Access required field event procedure if another field contains a certain value

Still not a lot to go on.
However if this was my problem, I would walk through the code with F8 after setting a breakpoint.

  19. Re: Show all records of Main form in the subform instead of just one

I use that method that Micron has linked to, though I prefer to only edit in the main form.
A few lines of code in the form load is all you need.

What I like about this is that there are a few...

  21. Re: MS Access required field event procedure if another field contains a certain value

That is not a lot to go on? :(
What *exactly* did not work?, what were the values in the controls?
For a start you should be checking for "Contractors" as it is a string?
  22. Re: MS Access required field event procedure if another field contains a certain value

Set a breakpoint in the event and walk through the code with F8.
