  1. Re: Excel - Check if date is greater in 2 columns

    Try this:

    =IF(SUMPRODUCT(--(B1:B4 < A1:A4),--(B1:B4 > 0))>0,"Values exist in column A greater than in column B","")

    You are welcome.
  3. Re: Excel - Check if date is greater in 2 columns

Which columns would the blanks appear in?
If there are any blanks, do you want to skip the whole function, or just the check in that row?
  4. Re: concatenate across row 4. Use comma seperator.

So, did you try my soluton?
  5. Re: concatenate across row 4. Use comma seperator.

I think some of the newer versions of Excel have a built-in function that will do this (at the moment, I cannot recall the name of the function).
If you do not have that, you can create a User...

Re: Excel Message When Opening Files

    Welcome to the Board!

You cannot upload files to this site. But there are tools you can use to post screen images. They are listed in Section B of this link here:...
  7. Re: How to Data Validate Cell Format to: MM/YEAR - MM/YEAR

Here is how you can enter VBA code that behaves like Cell Validation. Right-click on the sheet tab name at the bottom of the screen, select "View Code", and paste this code in the resulting window:...
  8. Re: SUMIF with multiple range columns and multiple sumrange columns?

Is this an Excel or a Google Sheets problem? Note that they are NOT the same thing, and do not necessarily work the same.

If you post Google Sheets questions, be sure to mention that in the title...

    Re: Need 2 Formulas

You can just use Conditional Formatting on cells C1 and D1:

Conditional Formatting formula on cell C1:

    =C1>22.5%

Conditional Formatting formula on cell D1:

    =D1<0

Re: Dates Greater than 2 Days

    You are welcome.
  12. Re: How to Data Validate Cell Format to: MM/YEAR - MM/YEAR

A better apporach may be to have two cells where they enter their dates (and use the "Date" option on Data Validation), and then you can build the format you need in another cell, i.e.
    If they are...

    Re: What is wrong

    You are welcome.

I just find them a bit cumbersome to work with, as you need to explicitly link them to Excel using VBA. In Access, form fields can automatically be "bound" to table and query...

Re: Work in progress and work completed

We need to slightly alter our approach in checking against a multi-cell range. Try this:

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

    Dim rng As Range
    Dim cell As Range
    ...
  16. Re: Is there a way to copy a value in the cell next to target cell?

So if you want to copy columns G and H in that row when you select a cell in column G, try:

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Not Intersect(Target,...

What is it exactly that you are trying to accomplish?
I seldom work with Forms (I find them rather cumbersome in Excel, and prefer to use Access if I need Forms), but try putting those two lines...

Re: Work in progress and work completed

In order to change a cell from a formula to a hard-coded value automatically requires using VBA. Below is code that will do that.
Just right-click on the sheet tab name at the bottom of the sheet...

Re: Work in progress and work completed

So which cell do you want "frozen in time"? B2 or D2?

How is the value in G11 being updated to 0? Is there a formula in that cell, or is it being manually updated?
