  2. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Your suggestions are very great points for me to look at.

    I just realised how useful the For Each Loop can be for what I am doing.
  3. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Hi mike,

    So I was playing around with cooler ways to test for the availability of the items in column B.

    The one I chose to use is:

    If Application.CountIf(Range,Item)= 1 Then
    Do...

  5. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Okay, cool. I am getting the picture now.

    So let say I have the numbers 34, 5, 27 in the column B.

    So I load them to the array with the first loop (the For Loop) - which I have no idea how to...
  6. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    I just tested the code and it didn't work the way I wanted .

    It was not returning anything into the cell B5 until I changed my range to "B1:F10" to test what was actually going on.

    Then I have...
  7. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Okay, I am not by my PC ATM.

    I will test it and report back to you.

    I can see your code is looking sweeter in the process.
  8. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Actually let me get back to the original for loop that I have.

    For i = 1 To 100
    Sheet2.[B5] = Application. Vlookup(i, Sheet1.[B1:F100],2,0)
    Sheet2.PrintOut
    Next
  9. Re: For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Cool.

    Though I don't really understand all the lines well, I think this is the part that I need, with a little amendment , maybe, will help

    Sub test()
    inarr = Range("A1:B100")
    Dim...
  10. For loop with irregular step or use arrays if possible

    Hi again,

    I got something I think is a big problem for me but I don't know what you think:

    I have a loop like

    .........

    Re: VBA - get active printer status

    This only sends the command to the printer and throws the error message when the printer is offline.

    I don't want to send the command to printer all I want is find the state of the printer.

  18. Re: Trying to use "PageSetup.PaperSize" with a constant not working

    Okay so I was able to get the user define paper size set to 3.94" x 5.83" and produced a constant of 141.
