    Re: how to extract only character's ???

    Or slightly safer (but volatile)
    =TEXTJOIN("",TRUE,IF(ISERR(MID(A3,ROW(INDIRECT("1:100")),1)+0),MID(A3,ROW(INDIRECT("1:100")),1),""))

    This is an array formula & needs to be confirmed with Ctrl...

    Re: Complicated Project

    Not quite sure why you would have got that error, if it worked first time round.
    Try deleting the code & then copy paste it back in. Do you still get the error?

    Re: Reset Excel Usedrange not working

    Try deleting all rows below your data & all columns to the right of your data, then save & close the workbook.

    How about

    Re: Reset Excel Usedrange not working

    Try using .Clear rather than .ClearContents
  7. Re: A tuff one, Copy and paste if criteria is partial met

    Or if you do want a macro, try
    Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.CountLarge > 1 Then Exit Sub
    If Target.Address(0, 0) = "A1" Then

    Re: VBA sumproduct with dynamic range

    You're welcome
  9. Re: A tuff one, Copy and paste if criteria is partial met

    Do you need code? This can easily be done with a formula. In A4 copied down & across
    <b></b><table cellpadding="2.5px" rules="all" style=";background-color: rgb(255,255,255);border: 1px...

    Re: VBA sumproduct with dynamic range

    Try
    .Formula = "=SUMPRODUCT(--(MONTH(sales!$B$2:$B$" & Lastrow & ")=$A2),sales!$K$2:$K$" & Lastrow & ")"
  11. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Ok, try this
    Sub sbrown64()
    Dim Cl As Range
    Dim Ky As Variant
    Dim Ws As Worksheet
    Dim UsdRws As Long

    Set Ws = Sheets(1)
    UsdRws = Ws.Range("D" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row...
  12. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    The user doesn't need to delete the data on the company sheets, the macro can do that.
    It's more a matter of whether the users are changing or adding anything to company sheets.
  13. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Thanks for the file, could you also please answer the second part part of my question in post#36
  14. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Re: Fill blanks macro

    How about
    Sub donniedorian()
    Dim Cl As Range
    For Each Cl In Selection
    If Cl.Value = "" Or Cl.Value = 0 Then Cl.Value = 1
    Next Cl
    End Sub
  17. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Will you be adding new rows to the Master sheet, or will you be replacing it with new data?
    If the former, are you happy to delete the info on the company sheets & then copy all the data over again?
  18. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Just noticed your edit to post#30, so try this instead
    Sub sbrown64()
    Dim Cl As Range
    Dim Ky As Variant
    Dim Ws As Worksheet
    Dim UsdRws As Long

    Set Ws = Sheets("sheet1")
    ...

  20. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    What row has you headers?
  21. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    You said the other sheets didn't exist.
    What do you want to happen if the other sheets already exist?
  22. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Do you have blank cells in col D?
    If so try
    Sub sbrown64()
    Dim Cl As Range
    Dim Ky As Variant
    Dim Ws As Worksheet

    Set Ws = Sheets("sheet1")
    With...

    Re: Overrule conditional formatting

    Does the CF format you've used include top & bottom borders?
    If I manually format borders & use CF to only change the background fill, then all borders remain.
  24. Re: copying cells from sheet 1 to various other sheets

    Does the tab show "Sheet1" or "Sheet 1"?
  25. Re: comboBox to display data in alphabetical order...

    You need to set a reference to the sheet with the data
    Private Sub UserForm_Initialize()

    ufcbbname.SetFocus
    allowed.Text = Worksheets("Saved Invoices").Range("I7")
    ...
