    Re: Clipboard History issue in VB Editor

    There are a bunch of free Clipboard managers for Windows available—too many to choose one to recommend.

    Have you tried the built-in Office Clipboard manager? It shows the clipboard history and...

    Re: Shift Pay Calculations

    Try this in E4 and copy downward.

    =IF(OR(HOUR(C4)>=18, HOUR(C4)< 4), $H$5*$J$4,
    IF(AND(HOUR(C4)>=4, HOUR(C4)+$J$4<=18), $H$4*$J$4,
    $H$4*(18-HOUR(C4)) + $H$5*($J$4+HOUR(C4)-18)))

    Re: IF - Logical question

    Using true dates in C1:AA1 made the formula much easier for me to write.

    In C1, enter 1-Sep-2017.
    Right-click-grab the small square drag handle at the lower-right of C1 and drag through to AA1....

    You can have up to 64 nested IF() functions; this changed with Excel 2007.

    Your word description doesn't fully describe the outcome for each pairing. Will you please give the proper answer for the...

    The colors change with the "Page Layout" and theme colors—changing the color scheme from the menu's "Page Layout" tab changes the colors offered on the "Design" tab for the table. I have not explored...

  14. Re: conditional formatting inserting bar based on cell value

    Instead of Conditional formatting data bars, would a column sparkline do what you want? You can set the axis parameters of the miniature column chart from the Design tab.
  15. Re: Distribute total working hours to three shifts

    I used conditional formatting to highlight weekends and holidays. Custom number formatting was used to hide zeros in the shift table.

  16. Re: Distribute total working hours to three shifts

    Formulas are used to place the shift hours in their proper columns.

    The formulas for the columns not shown are similar.

  24. Re: VBA: C.Williams' MicroTimer – Why include the line 'MicroTimer= 0'

    Thank you, Eric. That was my suspicion. I am all for eliminating lines of code, especially for a language that I find to be verbose. I would have voted for implied over explicit in this script.
