Re: Search for a value with two criterias

Thank you for your reply. In this case I might have written the calculation in a weird way. Let me explain.

Your designated weight is 86. What the calculation needs to do is take the maximum price...

Re: Search for a value with two criterias

That works PERFECTLY - thank you!

I have found out the weight-factor is a bit more complicated than just min-max unfortunately.

The weight goes from for instance 100-1000, and then different...

Search for a value with two criterias

    Hello all!

I have a project with a client and I would like a slick solution instead of what I usually come up with, which is bulky and slow.

I am calculating a shipping price, where i have the...
  5. Re: Sharepoint Online and Workbook.Open() doesnt work

Yes I can see that now. The problem was I just transferred the xlsm files to sharepoint, where the excel online opens as protected. I need to save it without macro enabled (xlsx) to get it without...
  6. Re: Sharepoint Online and Workbook.Open() doesnt work

Okay, I have now dug into the whole sharepoint online thing.

And I didn't even realise that I can probably just alter the data file, so that multiple people can edit the file at the same time.

  7. Sharepoint Online and Workbook.Open() doesnt work

    Hey guys

We have recently switched to sharepoint online on the job. This has really messed up some of my excel work.

I have especially two files which are now corrupted.

    One is the input...
  8. Re: VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

Ah okay. No the string will be 19-1234567 and NOT 191234567. When I test numbers with the - it gives me the cant fint the number error.
  9. Re: VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

Yes, thought it would cause problems. The reason why we want to use that instead of the VAT number is that the same VAT number can appear more than one time, but the journal number only comes once.
    ...
  10. Re: VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

That works flawlessly. Instead of using a number i would like to use our journal number instead. This consists of following format: "xx-xxxxxxx". x is numbers only. The - in the middle makes it error...
  11. Re: VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

They input a CVR into a textbox which is called CVR yes. I have tried with a real "example" so I am aware of the error a wrong input will do.
  12. Re: VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

CVR is equivalent to a VAT number. It is an input from a userform. It contains only numbers.

I have put the code in the userform on the button click.

The users input some data into a userform...
  13. Re: VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

    Thanks Yongle.

It makes an run-time error 1004, it cannot indicate Match for the class WorksheetFunction.
  14. VBA Find Row in another sheet and add lines

    Hey all,

I have a userform where my co-workers input some data from events. The button for the userform is on sheet1 and the sheet the data is put in is sheet2.

They input data first before the...
  15. Re: Open a seperate SharePoint excel file and save it in VBA

Now I have a minor update to this problem.

The users are using Excel 2013 and Excel 365. The users with Excel 365 cannot use the spreadsheet atm (i have not been using the code in #3 because that...
  16. Re: Open a seperate SharePoint excel file and save it in VBA

I might have found the problem myself. It seems that because i use Excel 2016 it opens the data file as read-only and not as write-read. Therefore i should find a way to make it write-read in the...
  17. Re: Open a seperate SharePoint excel file and save it in VBA

To perhaps clarify more about how the code is used in context here is all of it:

    Private Sub tilfoejsag_knap_Click()

    Dim emptyRow As Long
    Dim i As Long
  18. Open a seperate SharePoint excel file and save it in VBA

    Hey all VBA geniusses,

I have a hopefully simple question I can't seem to work.

I have on sharepoint two different excel files. Because of the obvious user edit limitations in a file on...
  19. Workaround for Excel on Sharepoint (many users)

    Hey all,

Right now I'm working on having a statistical Excel file on my company's SharePoint server. Right now that is working fine as a test with only me using the file. When it goes live the...
  20. Re: COUNTIFS with multiple ifs and within date-range

    Yes, indeed.

I have probably reached some sort of solution to why it didnt work.

My initial date im testing is input into the cell via a userform. The format of that cell is apparently not the...
  21. Re: COUNTIFS with multiple ifs and within date-range

This is the exact formula i use (with no translation):

    =TÆL.HVISER(Automater1!$K:$K;"="&A24;Automater1!$A:$A;">="&(DATO(2018;1;1)))

I guess most of it makes sense translation wise but let me...
  22. Re: COUNTIFS with multiple ifs and within date-range

Yes. To make sure I did not make any errors i simplified the formula so it for instance only searched for >=1/1/2018 if you know what i mean. Even a COUNTIF with only 1 criteria didnt work, so its...
  23. Re: COUNTIFS with multiple ifs and within date-range

Same problem occurs. If I do like you say it doesnt work. If i remove > and set the date to the right date in the column it works. So the syntax works but there is something wrong with the <=>...
  24. Re: COUNTIFS with multiple ifs and within date-range

I have been digging more in to it myself, since I really dont know why it doesn't work.

    =COUNTIFS($B:$B;"problem 1";$E:$E;"Large";$A:$A;"=1/1/2018")

The above code works if the date is...
  25. COUNTIFS with multiple ifs and within date-range

I'm really struggling with a COUNTIFS formula, and I hope you can help.
