    Re: ComboBox BackColor change on value

    OK, because it's case sensitive, try
    With Me.ComboBox1
    Select Case LCase(.Value)
    Case "terminal box"
    .BackColor = &HFF00&
    Case "none"
    ...
  2. Re: VBA Search for any of three items, return whole row or rows of matching data.

    My pleasure & thanks for the feedback

    Snap. :)
  4. Re: VBA: Specific number in a serie-of-numbers in a cell equals a color

    How about
    Sub Infine()

    For Each Cl In Range("C2", Range("C" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp))
    If Not Cl.Value = "" And IsNumeric(Right(Left(Cl, Len(Cl) - 3), 1)) Then

    Re: ComboBox BackColor change on value

    In that case I don't see how the back colour would change if you used
    With ComboBox11
    Select Case .Value
    Case "Yes"
    .BackColor = &HFF00&
    Case "No"
    .BackColor...
  6. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    That's the same as me, so it looks as though it's always been like that.
  7. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    What if you just put the sub in a sheet module & run it directly, rather than calling it from an event?
  8. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    Not sure if it's normal behaviour, as I've used "Break in class module" for years, so never had the problem.
    It might always have been like that, or it might be that something has changed.

    Re: ComboBox BackColor change on value

    How is it being populated?
  10. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    In that case my "fix" maybe wrong, if i run this from a sheet module
    Sub Test()

    Dim r As Range
    r = ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")

    End Subwith it set on "Break on unhandled errors"...

    Re: ComboBox BackColor change on value

    OK.
  12. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    Joe
    Do you have it set on "Break on all errors" or "Break on unhandled errors"?
  13. Re: VBA Search for any of three items, return whole row or rows of matching data.

    You can either add this line as shown
    End If
    .AutoFilterMode = False
    End With
    End Sub

    to the existing code or add
    Sheets("Sheet1").AutoFilterMode = Falseto a procedure...

    Re: ComboBox BackColor change on value

    The only reason I can think it would work if you use Yes & No is if the combo has multiple columns, some of which are hidden.
  15. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    Glad we could help & thanks for the feedback.

    I think that if you use either "Break on all errors" or "Break in class module" it should work.

    Re: ComboBox BackColor change on value

    In what way doesn't it work?
  20. Re: Code only running once then error 91 with block error

    You're welcome & thanks for the feedback
  21. Re: VBA Error window has changed - no more Debug button

    In the VB editor select tools > options > General > Break in class module > OK.

    Do you now get the "Normal" dialogue box?
  22. Re: Looking for a more elegant way to write the following countifs formula

    The countifs function works on an AND basis, so you are looking for any cell in col S that matches B12 & C12 & D12.
    So unless B12,C12 & D12 are all the same value, the formula will give you 0.

    How about

    If Nme.Visible Then
    If InStr(1, Nme, "!") > 0 Then Range(Nme).Interior.Color = vbYellow

  25. Re: Code only running once then error 91 with block error

    Forgot to mention that you will also need to remove this line from each of the finds
    after:=Cells(1, 1), _so that you end up with
    Set Rng1 = .Find(What:=FS1, _
    ...
