    Re: Custom RoundUp function Error

    I'd punt and use the Excel function:

    Public Function RoundtoUp(d As Double, n As Long) As Double
    RoundtoUp = WorksheetFunction.RoundUp(d, n)
    End Function

    You're welcome.
  6. Re: Inputbox capture OK and Cancel without any data entered

    Not sure I follow, but perhaps:

    Sub x()
    Dim sInp As String

    sInp = InputBox("Enter something")

    If StrPtr(sInp) = 0 Then
    MsgBox "User pressed Cancel"
  7. Re: I need a way of undoing a macro that deletes all lines

    Worksheets("NPSS_quote_sheet").Copy After:=Worksheets(Worksheets.Count)
  8. Re: replace parentheses and dashes from list of #s

    Sub rn()
    With Range("D:E")
    .Replace " ", ""
    .Replace "(", ""
    .Replace ")", ""
    .Replace "-", ""
    End With
    End Sub

    Re: Excel Repair Tool / Recomendation

    Again, you can do the same thing manually; export all the modules (including sheet modules and ThisWorkbook), then save as xlsx, close, reopen, import all the modules, then save as xlsm.

    Re: Excel Repair Tool / Recomendation

    Free: http://www.appspro.com/Utilities/CodeCleaner.htm

    It automates what you could do (what I used to do) manually: Export all code, save as an xlsx file, then reinstall the code.

    Re: VBA to run a max of once a day

    The code could create a named formula contain the last run date, and not run again until that date passes.

    Re: Set array formula

    You can’t enter an array formula longer than 255 characters via VBA in a single go. At http://www.dailydoseofexcel.com/archives/2005/01/10/entering-long-array-formulas-in-vba/, **** Kusleika shows...
  14. Re: Can I Code a macro that has Saved Text descriptions based on a criteria?

    If you were using formulas, it would be a simple VLOOKUP, no?

    So put a lookup table on a (perhaps hidden) sheet and use that in your code.

    Format E2 as General.

    The formula in C2 should be =DATEDIF(B2, A2, "y")

    Re: Standard deviation of correlation matrix

    Change the formula in those cells so they return blanks on and above the main diagonal. Blanks are ignored by STDEV.
