hello..

in cell A20 of current workbook, i have the formula:

=$D14*[file2.xls]Sheet1!Z$10

in cell A1 of current workbook, i have the formula:

=Sheet2!B2

what i did was to edit the A20 cell into:

=IF( A1 <= 0.80, ($D14*[file2.xls]Sheet1!Z$10), 0)

then excel tells me its a circular formula error but it can't show me where...

help pls..

thanks in advance..

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
This could go on for a while, depending on the complexity of your spreadsheet. When Excel gives you the circular reference message, doesn't it come up with a blue arrow pointing to where the problem is? What version of Excel are you using.
