Mial merge using excel as data source

I made a data source in excel ,using company, street, city, state, as title for my columns. when I go to mail merge and select data source it will not give me the headings i need it just has auto fields. what am I doing wrong is it they way I have named my columns? I can get part of it to come out on the envelope but not all.

Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
not really what I am looking for I am using words mail merge and excels data source. any ohter solutions?
