I'm needing some help. Relating to baseball odds. For example B2 is( -110) to Convert this to a percentage the equation is 110/(110+100)=0.52 but when i put =abs(110/(110+100) its giving me 11? I need abs first then the equation making it a positive.

Second, on a if formula for example the next cell down is ±125 and the formula for it would be 100/(100+125). Is there a way to put both in the formula that way i could drag it down and it can tell the two apart for the correct formula one being a negative and the other a positive?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
HI
Again assuming your value in B2, I believe the formula should look like this:

=ABS(B2)/(ABS(B2)+100)

Let me know.

Solution
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
How about
Excel Formula:
IF(B2<0,ABS(B2)/(100-B2),100/(100+B2))
