Add a note to a cell using Office Script

I used this code in Office Scripts to add a comment to cell C8.

workbook.addComment(selectedSheet.
getRange("C8"), "Testing comment");

What would the code be to add a NOTE, rather than a comment, to cell C8.

I believe you can only remove notes from current cells and not add them. I hope they add this feature ASAP!
