I'm using this formula

=VLOOKUP($C12,'[2024 Plants.xlsx]Garden'!$B$14:$BU$137,21,FALSE) and it works perfectly but I need to drag it across about 200 columns and manually have to change the 21 to 22, to 23 to 24 and so on. With 200 columns this takes a while. Am I stuck doing it that way or is there way to do it by dragging the formula?

Thanks in advance

Hi, in which cell are you placing this first formula?

Then you could try this, copied across:

Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP($C12,'[2024 Plants.xlsx]Garden'!$B$14:$BU$137,COLUMNS($Y12:Y12)+20,FALSE)

That works perfectly, THANK YOU

Alternatively you could put the column #s in a separate row and point the column argument to cells on that row.
