I have thee tables:
Table #1: Summary table that shows various results for a given year (2020) for a collection of 200 Assets by Division
Table #2: time series data (2020) for a specific variable on all 200 assets.
Date Table: dates from 2020 that coincide with the time series data.

How do I create a relationship between the Asset field in Table #1 and Asset which are column headers in Table #2 which has time series data for all 200 assets?

I am doing this because I want to graph the time series data by Asset using a slicer.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Or to be more clear, I want to create a relationship between a field in Table #1 and the Column Headers in Table #2.

Thanks

What I am wondering is whether this can actually be done OR do I have to transpose Table#2 with the data series so that my column headers become rows and then create the relationship between Table#1 and the transposed Table#2

Current Format of Table#2 with column headers and data series expressed as rows
Asset #1 Asset #2 Asset #3
Data1 Data1 Data1
Data2 Data2 Data2
Data3 Date3 Data3

Transposed Table#2 w/Column headers as rows and data series as columns
Asset Period1 Period 2 Period 2
Asset#1 Data1 Data 2 Data3
Asset#2 Data1 Data2 Data3
Asset#3 Data1 Date2 Data3

Thanks
