My hidden Excel 2016 macro enabled workbook menus disappear when I close the last workbook. It stays hidden but the menus disappear, then I have to restart excel again. Is there a way that the menus can be made NOTto disappear?

What “menus” disappear?
Can you provide before and after examples?

If I correctly understood, if you need to restore your disappeared menus I would use a Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose(Cancel As Boolean) event macro to reverse what your hidden macro does (hides menus).
