I have some data that I want to plot with X axis labels that are the combination of two sets of data. Here's the mini sheet.

Book1

5StartEndDaysX AxisAMPMInsulinVictoza
66/10/20 8/31/20 828/31/20 (82)15321656
78/11/20 10/27/20 7710/27/20 (77)153207451.12

E6:E10E6=TEXT(C6,"m/dd/yy") & " (" & D6 & ")"

I want the labels on the X axis to be those in E6:E10, which are the result of combining C6:C10 and D6:D10.

If I don't select anything for the X axis, I get a nice chart with counting numbers on the X axis. This is the chart I want, but with the values in E6:E10 as the labels in the X axis.

If I select C6:C10 for the X values, Excel correctly interprets the X values as dates and scales the axis accordingly. I want the X values to be uniformly spaced.

If I select E6:E10 for the X axis, I get a correct chart, but somehow Excel chose dates from 1/00/2000.

How can I get a chart line this one, but with the actual values in E6:E10 as X axis labels.

Thanks

Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Try selecting the 'Line with Markers' chart type.
Very good, thank you.

I using a scatter chart with markers. I see now that it shoiws the relationship between 2 values, whereas the line chart only shows one set of values.
