I have a pie chart that uses Best Fit for the labels.

Is there a way of establishing if the Best Fit location is inside the slice or outside the slice?

I am using a loop to go through all the slices and dependant on the fill colour, change the font colour to either black or white. As the backcolor of the chart is no colour/white, using a white font for a lable makes it invisible when the font for the slice colour needs to be white.

In the image below, you can see the leader line to font that is white

I cant use a dark colour for the back colour as this would present the same problem for label fonts that are black and are on the outside of the slice.

TIA

IMO if you have more than 3 segments, you shouldn't be using a pie chart. With all those labels and figures, you might as well just have a table! ;)

Agreed but I have paying client asking for this so as much as I can provide input, it's their and their stakeholders decision....
