Got an assignment to enter two years worth of data into a file. Problem is my original file goes from 1/1/22 to 3/31/24 in ascending order left to right.
They want the dates going right to left with the current dates in the first column.
Range transpose won't work. I don't know how to use VBA so i need a simpler solution. Thanks srmorgan

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
How about Transpose the range (from columns to rows), sort in Descending order, and then Transpose back to columns?

Can't you just sort the columns Left to Right Descending (Newest to Oldest) ?

It is a bit burried and doesn't get used very often.
@Joe4 - I have occassionally used it by putting =Match in the row above the column headings which then returns the order from a list or another table and used that to sort columns. It is very fast even on large datasets although my testing was on a sheet that doesn't have formulas.
