Shared file opens up as old version no matter what

Every time I open the file on one of my colleague PC it says the file has a newer version on the server asks if he wants to delete his changes and open new file from the server, You agree to that and it still opens file from Friday and asks the same thing. I opened the file from onedrive on microsoft web page, same story. So i downloaded the file and opened it localy and it worked fine. But I can't use this file, becaue I need to use the online version. I have no idea how to fix such a weird error. restarted onedrive and still nothing. I'm running out of ideas.
