Xl2bb Question

I’ve had xl2bb placed in my xlStartUp folder ever since I installed it several years ago with no issues.
But I just want to ask if it is better installed just as an “Add In” to Excel?

Reason for the question is that when I call a Sub from “ThisWorkbook” module in the “Active Workbook” that is supposed to “Save and Close” all open Workbooks, it leaves an instance of Excel open showing “xl2bb”

Sure. The XLSTART folder method is just an alternative in case you can't install it as an add-in - for some reason. Quit Excel, remove the add-in file from your XLSTART folder and follow the Installation steps (at the top of the article) in the XL2BB overview page:
