Out of the blue I am getting a message that says "Disk is full" when I try to close workbooks in excel. I have over half of a 120 gb hard drive free.

HELP!

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi Will

Is this on a network or a PC? If you are on a network then this error can appear if you momentarily lose connectivity.

There are a number of resources available from MS here, but I'm not sure they will help :

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223813/
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/214245
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/214073/

You aren't perchance running Veritas backup software or Symantec (Nortons) anti-virus software?
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=830265

If all these steps fail, then there is a troubleshooting guide from MS here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/271513

Have you tried saving the file elsewhere? Also, I saw a recommendation to increase the size of your virtual memory - could it be a case of insufficient RAM rather than hard disk space?

HTH, Andrew
