I need to look at 2 sheets in the same file side by side and I cannot figure out how to do it.

If I could open the file twice, that would work. but excel does not permit that.

I need to see sheet A and sheet B side by side to compare things.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm probably missing something simple here.

Thanks in advance,

Glenn

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Doing this on a pc without Excel so I can't remember the exact menu path, but I know it's very easy.

I think it's something like Windows, New, which will open another copy of the file, and then something like Windows, Arrange with various options to Tile Horizontally, Tile Vertically (which is what you probably want), cascade and so on.

Anyway play around in the Windows menu.

Not that you're addicted to MrExcel or anything...

Gerald's spot on. Only thing to add is that the Arrange Windows dialog has a checkbox for Windows of active workbook which you may want to check if you have other workbooks open (and the others are not minimized).
