I'm trying to write a Macro in Excel to go out and open up the Access Program so I can proceed with importing an Excel Spreadsheet into Access. Each time I try to record the Macro I go through all my steps and assign a hot key to activate the Macro. However, when I either run the Macro or use the hot key it will not open up the Access Program. Any suggestions on what I need to do in order to make this Macro work.

If you have a solution for me please email at Rick_Scott@SmithBucklin.com

Thanks,
Rick

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
The macro recorder doesn't record what you do out of Excel.

In Access, you have to File, Get external data & select your XL file.

There are some ways to open Access via an Excel macro but I'm not sure it's what you need.
