Diffrence Between Calc Now (F9) and Calc Sheet

What is the diffrence betrwwn Calc Now (F9) and Calc Sheet? Also in VBA, what one does the Calculate function use? It seems like Calculate function uses Calc Sheet. I need to use the Calc Now(F9) in VBA. Any suggestions?

As far as I know:

F9 = calculate all open workbooks, in VBA: Calculate

Shift + F9 = calculate active work sheet, in VBA: ActiveSheet.Calculate
