Hello,

I am trying to run a macro that uses ADODB.Connection VBA function.

The macro bugs on the ADODB.Connection and the error message is "Compile error: user-defined type not defined".

I suspect there is some sort add-in that needs to be installed for the ADODB.Connection function to work.

What should I do to be able to use the ADODB.Connection VBA function ?

Thanks

Louis

Did you reference to the ADO library?

In the VB editor, goto Tools--> References --> and add Micorsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.7 Library, or whatever version you to use.
