My Excel is stuck on manual calculation on startup, i.e. when Excel is launched, the default setting is manual calculation.

I would prefer to return the default to automatic calculation.

I've tried to resave the normal.xlt template with automatic calculation enabled. Also tried Detect & Repaird.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Do you have a book.xlt in your XLSTART folder? Change the Tools | Option Calculation Automatic in that.

or just reboot...
