How do I convert a .xls file to a .txf file format ?

What is a txf file?

When I search on the Internet it tells me that there are 3 different file types that use that extension.

1 Compressed file.

2 STAR Transit Translation Text.

3 Tax Exchange Format.

I can't believe it's Excel ..

i was un able to find any software for this conversion at portfolio-tracker.com
all they had was photography information.

sounds like that is the answer......but the software is a bit expensive.......for my needs.

The best way to convert brokerage firms' .xls files to .txf format for import into tax software is to purchase very inexpensive software from one of the two following sites (both, by the way, offer free trials):
