Drawing Borders Automatically

I have a table of data with all 365 days of 2009 listed in column C8:C372. What I would like to do is draw a thick border line under each row that is a Saturday. The border line should run from Columns A through AI. I could do this manually and it looks good but I do a lot of copying down columns in this worksheet and then the formatting gets all goofed up.

My questions are:
1. How can I accomplish this formatting wish so that the borders are drawn automatically?

2. Is there a way to lock that formatting in place so that my copy commands don't overwrite the formatting?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Highlight the area of a8:ai372. Then click FORMAT / CONDITIONAL FORMATTING. Click FORMULA IS and enter the following formula:
Code:
=WEEKDAY($C8,1)=7

Then click the FORMAT button and setup the desired formatting that you with to apply to the rows containing Saturday dates.
