I am a long time PC user and have just purchased a mac book pro after just giving up on the PC after 20 years. All has gone well so far and I'm actually really liking the speed and function of the mac. I'm an accountant and needed to keep windows and ms office for a while (probably years), and have run into an issue. with the ESC key.
On the mac I have installed VMWare Fusion to emulate windows. Then I have installed windows and MS Office 2007. All is so far fine, except my ESCAPE key does not work.
It wouldn't be the end of the world but I can't leave an active cell in Excel without pain and suffering.
Any advice on how to program the key to function OR set up a shortcut. Since the program does not respond to ESC, I don't know how I can do it or what the ESC function is really called.
This is happening with both the windows keyboard and the apple keyboard.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
