Function "DATEDIF" does not exist in my excel 2010 version

Do I need to activate or download an add-in to make this function work ?

No. Here it is working in Excel 2010.

It does exist......but it doesn't appear in the function list or in the help files! Try just typing the formula in , e.g.

=DATEDIF(A1,B1,"y")

So, I typed in the formula and it's not working for me.

In what way "not working"? What formula did you try? A1 and B1 must contains values that Excel recognises as dates.

I typed the following : DATEIF(B1,C1,",M"). B1 = 3/15/13 C1 =5/16/13. I'm getting #NAME? as a Result.
